Warts /Verruca

Warts / Verruca are skin coloured rough lumps on the surface of the skin usually on the hands (warts)  & feet (verruca). They are caused by a virus which make a hard protein to grow, producing the rough skin of the wart or verruca.

Warts & verruca can be very contagious and are usually are harmless but unsightly. Warts do not generally cause discomfort but verrucas can occasionally hurt due to the pressure of the weight of the body.

Most warts and verrucas heal themselves but can sometimes take up to 2 years. there are various treatments available which will clear the warts and verrucas quicker.
